Banco Finantia Spain moves forward in Open Banking with partner Raisin

Banco Finantia Spain, in line with the Finantia Group’s strategy, has partnered with the Berlin-based German open banking platform RAISIN. This platform, like its partner Savedo in Portugal, allows consumers in the countries covered by the platform to access higher deposit rates from various international banks through a single website.

Raisin is one of Europe’s leading fintech companies and has featured in the FinTech50 list of the Top 50 fintechs in Europe in 2016, 2017 and 2018. It is one of the best-funded fintech startups in Europe, having raised over €70 million from well-known investors, including Index Ventures, Ribbit Capital, Thrive Capital and PayPal. To date, it works with more than 62 partner banks, serves 150,000 customers, operates in a global deposit savings market of $11 trillion, and has generated $90 million in interest for its clients.

Last year, it launched its platform in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, already operating in Germany, France, Spain and Austria, and plans to enter two additional markets this year. It also expects to expand its range of investment products.
