Banco Finantia was considered, for the second consecutive year, the most solid (financial soundness) and the most efficient (cost-to-income) among the seven main banks operating in Portugal, according to the 2019 Ranking prepared by the prestigious British magazine The Banker.
According to the same study, Banco Finantia ranks fifth in financial soundness and ninth in efficiency among the “Top 250 EU Banks” in Europe.
Founded in 1926, The Banker, part of the Financial Times Group, is one of the most important publications in the banking and financial sector, with wide distribution in more than 180 countries, with 60% of its readership made up of CEOs and CFOs of their respective organisations.
