Banco Finantia, S.A. today completed the cross-border merger process with Banco Finantia Spain, S.A., which will now operate under the name Banco Finantia, Branch in Spain.
Banco Esfinge began operating in the Spanish banking market in December 1993 and, in 2001, became part of the Banco Finantia Group under the name “Banco Finantia Sofinloc”, later renamed “Banco Finantia Spain”. The purpose of this merger is to achieve greater efficiency and resource-sharing capacity, meeting increasing regulatory requirements.
