Banco Finantia recruit Legal Counsel Corporate Governance
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to strengthen the Legal of Banco Finantia:
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting in meetings of the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and other committees appointed by the Board;
- Assistance in the implementation and execution of the governance and internal control system, including coordination with various Internal Control Functions, particularly regarding documentation to be submitted to corporate bodies;
- Legal support on various Corporate Governance matters, including drafting and reviewing internal policies, regulations, and procedures;
- Monitoring correspondence from regulators addressed to management and supervisory bodies, ensuring timely responses when applicable, and coordinating with relevant departments as needed;
- Support to the department head in organizing and distributing tasks.
Desired profile:
- Degree in Law, with a post-Bologna Master's degree;
- Minimum of 6 years professional experience, including hands-on involvement in Corporate Governance matters within the financial sector (preferred);
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Governance principles;
- Solid understanding of Corporate Law;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools from a user perspective;
- Fluency in English, with potential proficiency in Spanish;
- Results-oriented mindset;
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities;
