Prizes awarded to Banco Finantia
Banco Finantia has received various awards over the years, notably Euromoney awards for “Best Securities Firm in Portugal”, “Best Smaller Bank in Western Europe” and “Best Smaller Investment Bank in the World”.
Banco Finantia's performance has been distinguished by prestigious international entities with several awards over the years.
Recently distinguished from among the 23 largest banks operating in the Iberian Peninsula, as the one with the highest financial strength ratios and the best return on assets, according to the 2021 Ranking “Top 1000 World Banks”. Also in 2019, it was considered the most solid (financial soundness) and the most efficient (cost-to-income) among the 7 main banks operating in Portugal, according to the 2019 Ranking “Top 250 EU Banks”, carried out by British magazine The Banker.
The Banker study / ranking was based on objective criteria and several indicators were used: Size, Financial Strength and Profitability. The Banker is a prestigious banking magazine with a wide distribution to over 180 countries.
